I thought that I was almost done with my Kilimanjaro slideshow CD, so this morning I downloaded a copy of Navigator 4.08 to test it with. Shocking results. Windows that wouldn't maximise. Tables with the wrong background. Broken style sheets. Four hours later, I had a version which worked as well in Navigator as in Explorer.

According to my web counter, more than 80% of visits to this site are from Netscape users. Why have you not told me that what should be "<" shows up as "&lt" in all of my slideshows? The error stems from typing "&lt" in my html files, when it should be "&lt;" IE accepts the sloppy html, but Netscape does not.

Don't be afraid to complain. It's the only way things will get fixed.

Ethan and I transformed an overgrown flower bed into a play area during my Easter break. See it change before your very eyes!

Thursley Common is not closed by foot and mouth disease, so Ethan and I spent Easter Sunday hiking. Although it was cold and windy, we did see several lizards out sunning themselves. Here's a slideshow.

Magnolia are in bloom at Wisley. Barb, Dick, Ethan and I hung out there today, while Karen worked on the seder.
