Good Friday at Dapdune Wharf, Ethan got his face painted.

  
Saturday, Ethan enjoyed his first professional football match: Chelsea v. Sunderland. In the ten-day period starting with my birthday, I saw Chelsea win four matches--three of them by 4 goals to nil.

Friday, Ethan and his classmates dressed up in various national costumes. Ethan went in a pair of Chinese pyjamas that Wei gave him years ago.

Kibo and Mawenzi, our two Siamese kittens were ready to be picked up this weekend. After a long ride down from Norwich on Saturday, they're settling into their new home. Kibo is the light one (lilac point) and Mawenzi is the dark one (chocolate point). The breeder, Susan Dodgson at Limited Edition, certainly gave them a great start in life.
 
Kibo and Mawenzi, by the way, are the two main peaks of Kilimanjaro, where I had the pleasure of finding myself one year ago at the end of February.
