The clocks jumped forward and ushered in a beautiful Mothering Sunday. We all drove over to Shere to give Karen a cream tea and a walk around the historic village.

Following an exciting Saturday of birthday parties and FA Cup ties, we took a Sunday out of doors geocaching down south of Guildford. Ethan found all the caches by himself, without any clues.

Ethan spent almost all week in bed with a stomach bug. He recovered a bit on Friday, more on Saturday, and by Sunday he was ready for an outing. We drove south to Bracklesham, in the advice of a well-executed and informative website (Discovering Fossils). The weather was kind to us, and we had a great day out. Unfortunately, Karen had to stay home and do homework.
