Manhattan Beach pier makes an excellent photographic backdrop. On Sunday afternoon, we finally took some time to wander along teh sands. It was too cold for the sea to be attractive. The best attire is bare feet, shorts and a fleece top.

Today we departed England, after almost 22 years. It was a long, long day, especially for the cats.

Our household goods bid farewell to Wilderness Road. Next stop LA.

Chelsea v. Tottenham will be my last match at the Bridge for some time, I suspect. This is not a season I would have chosen to leave early, with Chelsea still in competition for three trophies, Liverpool to come in the Champions League semi-final, Man-U in the league, and (probably) the brand new Wembley Stadium in the FA Cup.

We supported a chaotic sleepover to mark Ethan's departure from HT School. A trip to the cinema, a loud, late night, and pancakes for breakfast.
