We took our Fourth of July and went out to Point
Fremin on
Palos Verdes peninsula. It was crowded with families setting up barbecues for the afternoon, playing games, napping and just enjoying the unexpected Wednesday off. We went down to look at the "sunken city" of San Pedro, a luxury neighborhood that slipped off the side of the cliff in the late 1920s. Now its a jumble of fragmented streets, palm trees and broken telephone poles, covered in
graffiti.
