The California climate lends itself to living in the Sukkah. We built ours last weekend, and it was finished off on Friday when we had a delivery of palm fronds (schack) for the roof. Manhattan Beach public works actually cut and delivered them for us! E and I slept out in it on Friday night. For the full construction work, see the slideshow.

Ethan started playing organized footie this week. He actually has some pretty good hustle -- like a mini Dennis Wise.

Here they are, our books, taking up their rightful places in the new bookcase. It looks like there is even room for a few more.

Most of California is having a heat-wave, but out here it's comfortable in the mid 70's (F). Ethan and Jeff tended the barbecue.
